v6 freezes at the same time every night

Hi

We joined VM eight days ago and our V6 box has played up from the first day. Every night around 21:30 the box freezes and won't respond to any buttons being pressed on the remote. It's driving my family crazy and they are asking to go back to talktalk! Am I missing something simple in the settings? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you doing anything "different" at this time?

How many recordings do you have running at this time? If you press the "info" button and scroll to the bottom panel, each of your recording tuners will be listed. The "recording" ones will be in red.

Thank you for replying.

There haven't been any recordings or playback going at the time. Normally the guide button is pressed and the guide comes up but then absolutely no response after that. I have done the turn it off and on again trick with no joy and the Virgin helpline has carried out a line/system test with no faults found.
