Re: renewed rights deal with sky tv

Sky Sports in HD is good.

Fans of Sky Atlantic will be disappointed though.

Re: renewed rights deal with sky tv

We have Sky Atlantic here  - we've only found three series in the whole time is has broadcast worth watching.

I'm sure more people will opt for Virgin due to its sports - then depart due to Sky Atlantic.

i don't think so. i agree with ozat aside from 3 maybe 4 shows we don't watch it. we have a now box we watch it on.

i said the other day here, the only way sky will let virgin have it is 1. prices increase for all customers dramatically 2. it is a standalone premium channel.

it is a usp for sky, they would be foolish to give it up.

Re: renewed rights deal with sky tv

It looks like sky sports HD is now available in bigger + sports to new customers.   Will customers already on that package receive the upgrade to HD automatically? If so when?

Thank you

Re: renewed rights deal with sky tv

I'm on Full House TV (Xl) plus Sky Sports Collection and it would be nice to get Sky Sports HD but I'm not holding my breath.

As I posted elsewhere, that's a 12 month offer on that bundle, not a permanent change to the Sky Sports HD pricing.
