Hi,

I have a V6 box at home and my remote control recently died on me.

So i ordered a new one but the volume and mute functions don't work (The batteries inside are new and all the other functions are fine).

I've tried pairing it to the box via the instructions but keep hitting the same problem - namely, every time i get to the last part where i'm supposed to get the relevant TV codes to input my screen goes black.

My TV's fairly old but has been perfectly compatible until now. 

Any advice? Does it mean my box might be on the blink?

Sorry to hear about this, does the screen not come back on at all once it goes black? Do you have to restart the box fully?
