Hello, can someone please help? We have had a V6 box for a couple of months now and have never been able to access Amazon Prime and recently iPlayer (I am sure that iPlayer worked before); Netflix has always worked.
Short of getting an engineer out (we're still waiting for them to sort our wiring outside the house) has anyone managed to resolve this sort of issue and have any suggestions?
If I record something from the planner that uses Amazon I select the show from the recording list and it goes dark, I think the spinny thing appears in the middle of the screen and says loading but then it just goes back to the recorded list - no error code or anything. Same with iPlayer. If I go direct to the Amazon or iPlayer app the same thing happens 'loading' but then just back to the previous screen.
The TV is an old (12 years?) flat screen Panasonic HD ready - not a smart one.
Assuming that you have a working subscription to Netflix...
Does it make any difference if you're loading the app "manually" versus finding an OnDemand programme via the "Search & Explore" method, and clicking "Watch now" to shortcut directly to the Netflix asset?

Thank you very much for your perseverance Japitts. As if by magic it is now all working! I have reset the box a few times before but to no avail but did it again yesterday and I can now access iPlayer, YouTube, Prime etc. 😄
