iPlayer crashing the V6 box

tboman
Up to speed

The last few times I have used iPlayer on one of my V6 boxes, it has rebooted the V6.

On one occasion it started buffering when I tried to skip a trailer, then rebooted. Tonight when the program ended I tried to go back to iPlayer home and the V6 rebooted.

The only other problem I am seeing with this V6 is pixelation on recorded program playback. Not all the time, but has increased recently.

1: If a TV box is rebooting anything more than occasionally & overnight, it has a fault that is best reported.

2: You've not mentioned any issues with live TV so presumably that's OK. Try pausing live TV for a short while and watch it delayed. This is also a recording and uses the hard drive in exactly the same way. If this also breaks up, you have early onset HDD failure, this can't be repaired and will only get worse.
