hd channels missing

apparently i should be getting dave hd,gold hd,eden hd,w hd and others with my player package but i'm not?

That one is actually out of date the most current channel guide is https://www.virginmedia.com/virgin-tv-edit/tips-and-tricks/virgin-tv-channel-guide

and player doesnt have Dave HD and the other ones you have listed.

The link is old (Horse & Country withdrew their channel in mid 2020) & from a period where there was a free promo of the channels you list to all customers. These promos only last around 3 months & are at the channel owners discretion.

DJ_Shadow1966 and nodrogd would be correct that link is older and the correct link is here which will also show the date of the most recent update.  Apologies again for the confusion.
