Hi

The picture flickers very rapidly, the sound crackles.

Other inputs (Firestick, DVD) don't.

Tried changing HDMI input on TV, changed cable. No difference.

If I reset the box the problem disappears. The trouble is, I have to do this every time I try to watch something live from the box or recorded on its drive.

Just to confirm that you've proven the fault away from the HDMI cable and your TV's HDMI input - both of which work fine with other equipment?

Sounds like a faulty V6 HDMI output if so.

I just tried the HDMI ARC input to the tv and the flickering doesn't occur.

I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing some issues with a flickering picture on your TV service. 

Has changing the HDMi cable now resolved the issue?
