error code 7400

I have a 2nd box in the bedroom and I'm getting error code 7400 on it, could anyone help me out with this please

Hi jlw200,

Try rebooting the V6 please. If the channels are still greyed out then you need to phone to get your box activated. 0800 953 9500.

Thank you for your reply, I've tried rebooting it and I've tried ringing but can't get through so I just wondered if I could get any help on here instead?

Hi again jlw200,

sorry you haven't had any success yet.

A Forum Staff member might pick this up for you tomorrow or Saturday, however I would suggest to try and calling again first thing tomorrow if it's convenient as phones are less busy early on. Grab yourself a flask and some snacks just in case, and put it on loudspeaker to avoid the repetitive songs.

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to see that you've been struggling with the set top box in the bedroom.

 

Are you still experiencing this issue with your set top box? Your account is currently showing them to be unreachable

 

Can you confirm how you're connecting the set top box to your broadband connection - is this via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet cable?

Hi as an earlier contributer has advised you that code indicates that the box has been deactivated, ring the 0800 number have your account number and area code and serial number of the box showing the error code to hand. Regards Micky.
