We have two V6 boxes. The older one connects to our WiFi (own router) no problem, every time and regardless of whether it's started from cold or after being in low power (standby) mode.
The other often doesn't connect to the WiFi after starting from low power mode and I usually have to restart the device from the menus for it to reconnect to my WiFi.
I've checked for updates recently but it seems to be up to date.
I suspect it’s just a poorer WiFi signal at the failing V6.
On each V6, navigate as follows:
Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network > View Network Status >
and report for each box:
