Why does Netflix sound like interference?

All we get is an awful interference sound rather than the actual sound. Everything else works fine. Am at a loss!

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

Is it happening on any other devices with the same show?

If I've helped please let me know 🙂 Matt

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

Hi Matt,

It only happens on the TV that has Virgin. It's next to the V6 box and the hub.

It doesn't happen on the TV that isn't connected to Virgin, only the WiFi. And that TV is upstairs away from the V6 box.

Thanks

Luke

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

Does it happen on live TV channels or OnDemand programmes?

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

It's on-demand. We don't watch channels on Netflix.

Really need some proper advice. Thanks

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

I'm trying to establish here, if this sound issue is affecting all "sources" such as live TV, OnDemand, streaming apps etc. This could then be an issue with your box's sound output, HDMI/optical cable - or even your TV speakers.

If only certain things such as OnDemand, or a streaming app (Netflix, Prime, iPlayer etc etc) are affected, it could be a problem with that specific source.

Re: Why does Netflix sound like interference?

Hi,

Everything else works fine luckily. Just Netflix is affected and only on one TV.

The only other issue I have is the internet keeps dropping out. What can I do?

Thanks again.

Luke
