We have the top bundle tv and broadband yet when watching amazon on my brand new tv it keeps dropping to the pint we now watch it on normal HD, what’s the point VM advertising  super speeds when it keeps dropping?

Re: Watching amazon prime on 4k

Are you connecting on WiFi, if so 5GHz is normally a better connection than 2.4GHz in the same room.

Even better is a cable if your TV has an Ethernet port.

Re: Watching amazon prime on 4k

Yes through WiFi, it’s a brand new oled tv so quite disappointed, Sony says the bandwidth is not strong enough, we have the super hub so I have no idea if it’s on 5 or 2g

Re: Watching amazon prime on 4k

For the hub 3.0, you can separate your wireless frequencies:

Access your Hub by navigating to 192.168.0.1. Login with the default login info (on base of Hub) unless you've already updated it.
Go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > Security
Under Wireless Frequency 2.4GHz change the Wifi Network Name (SSID) and the Wifi password (network key).
Repeat for the Wireless Frequency 5GHz and click on Apply changes.

Re: Watching amazon prime on 4k

In that case just buy an Ethernet cable like this one.

Re: Watching amazon prime on 4k

I've got ethernet 200mb. Netflix 4k plays fine. Amazon prime 4k is always HD. Roger, have you checked that your feed (when you pause) says 4k?
