It seems that every night when we watch TV via our V6 box at some point in the evening it suddenly crashes and restarts. Sometimes it restarts successfully. Other times it needs turning off and on again before it restarts and sometimes even that doesn't work.
As a side issue I have no memory of my customer services password to use over the phone and no idea how to reset it / find out what it is.
A TV box that's crashing and/or restarting anything more than occasionally, is faulty.
I'd call in - I'm not intimately familiar with C/S process for password recovery, but I'd imagine the faults agent could ask you a few account-related questions and reset your password for you. So with that in mind, you might want to have some answers ready.. like what your bills are, what package you're on, they're likely to pick questions that only the account holder would know.
