Virgin Ultra HD

I have a fairly new 4K oled TV, but any time I want to watch one of the very few Ultra hd shows on Virgin, the sound keeps breaking up. Anybody know why this might be?

Re: Virgin Ultra HD

I'm having exactly the same problem watching a recording of Vertigo. I've had to stop watching and just delete

Re: Virgin Ultra HD

That's  also been happening here in the Teesside area if watching from channel 999, however if I use channel 228 there are no issues.

I haven't tried recording.

Have you tried switching the audio to Dolby Digital to PCM when watching live?

Re: Virgin Ultra HD

I have the same problem on both channels and I've tried changing the audio output to PCM, still no good.

Perhaps Virgin can help?

Re: Virgin Ultra HD

Same issue here on both channels.
It's not very often I see something I want to watch on the Ultra HD channel but it's like cutting out for milliseconds at a time.
The sound on BT Sports 4K is fine and other things like Firestick and Xbox in 4k are also fine.

Must be a transmission issue surely?
Wanted to watch Hans Zimmer but as that is very sound based not much point.
Any official word on if it is a fault?

Re: Virgin Ultra HD

Just to add bizarrely live audio issues. A recording all is fine.
No wonder we don't have the announced Sky UHD content if they can't even get their own channel to sound right.
