Today I received an email from Virginmedia informing me that my TV package has been upgraded from the 'Fun' package to 'TV Mix' package at no extra cost. This is because the Fun package is no longer available.

A bit of research on the net suggests that the Fun package was better than the Mix package so this is in effect a downgrade.. 

Am I missing the obvious here

I hope the following helps.

VM have been busy tidying up some of the older legacy packages over the past few months.

The online  ChannelGuide_Apr_22.pdf  which you can usually look at to compare channels on the various packages hasn't been updated for a couple of months.

Have you double checked that that the channels showing in the Fun column (3) are no longer available to you by actually tuning into the channels?

The reason I'm asking is that there's a poster on another forum who is pretty savvy with VM channel changes and he's posted that  extra documentary channels, along with Comedy Central Extra, Box Hits and Kerrang  have now been added to the legacy Mix tier.  digitalspy.com/

Modteam have got back to me, and just to confirm the following channels were added to the Mix tier on 1st June.

fun tv now changed to mix 15/6/2022

Thanks for the informative post, my tv package has also changed to mix tv and I presume the cost will remain the same I hope, I will check my email.

Hi, I have mix on 360 and none of those programmes?

Also package comparison is out of date and still shows Sky 1 and 2, Fox and universal?
