Virgin TV not working

A message keeps appearing. The DVR has detected a serious problem and is now attempting to fix it. Been like it for 4 days I've tried everything but I can't watch TV

Sorry for bearing the bad news, but the "DVR has detected an error" green screen unfortunately means your hard drive has failed.

You should call VM Faults to report it and arrange the replacement.

If it's followed by a green screen then unfortunately your Hard drive has died and will need a brand new box, there's nothing you can personally do nor anything the TiVo software can do to resolve that, you will need to call in by 0345 454 11 11 or 150 from a Virgin landline.
