Virgin Media V6 on the XH900

I have the xh900 set up through the Virgin media V6 box, when watching TV content like BBC or ITV the picture is worse than my 1080p bravia I have in my bedroom. The picture doesn't pop like my 1080p TV does. Is there any settings I need to change. I've watched YouTube videos and played about with the settings but I can't get it looking as good as it should.

Sorry to hear of the picture issues on the TV.

Can you please confirm if you've been able to utilise an alternative HDMI cable, or an alternative port on the TV to see if this resolves the picture issue?

Do this happen on Live TV, or it is when you're streaming content via iPlayer and/or ITVx?

Can you advise us if this happens across all other content providers, or is it just these two?
