Re: V6 with splitter

Assuming the splitter you refer to is an HDMI one, it must be HDCP 2.2 compatible, as does the HDMI port on your TV.

Re: V6 with splitter

...so you know the V6 HDMI port works and your splitter is at fault - it doesn’t understand the HDCP format being sent from the V6.

Re: V6 with splitter

... presumably your new TV is 4K but the old one wasn’t. You need to be HDCP 2.2 compliant, both in your splitter and the HDMI port on your TV.

Re: V6 with splitter

This is the splitter I have

Ultra High Definition (UHD) is capable of running up to 4k x 2k resolutions rather than the standard 1080p. 3D compatible for the ultimate experience the HDMI splitter allows one device (for example a skybox) to be connected to two TVs. Backwardly compatible with standard HDMI connections. Its slim low profile design is easily hidden or stylish enough to leave at the side of your device

I presume this is the correct type

Re: V6 with splitter

Nothing there says HDCP 2.2 compatible.

What is the make and model of your splitter?

Re: V6 with splitter

It's  made or rebranded by a company called Kenable no model on it.  I turned both TVs on and it is working most strange

Re: V6 with splitter

I guess this is your device:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00L55765G/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_P1MWFbXQXG981

First available 2014, no mention of HDCP 2.2 so I suspect your issues arise from this.

Good to hear it’s working (for now).
