V6 in constant loop

This morning I woke up to find my V6 is in a constant loop; the welcome screen then the download symbol then back to welcome screen etc. I have rebooted it but still the same... can anyone help please as the queue on the phone line is big!

Re: V6 in constant loop

Sounds like the update has failed and you may need a new box,

You can try this, switch off the V6 and then back on again and hold TV+Down+Record during boot using the buttons on the box this will wipe the drive and reinstall the operating system

If this fails you will need a new box

Re: V6 in constant loop

I can only see on/off, + and - buttons on the V6, do you mean  the remote?

Re: V6 in constant loop

Was this caused by the new update?

Re: V6 in constant loop

try holding these buttons for 60stry holding these buttons for 60s

Try holding down these buttons as it boots up, hold them for about 60 seconds

Re: V6 in constant loop

Tried this... the V6 box shows an update / download logo but then goes to the welcome screen and reboots, then gets stuck on starting up boot loop.
