I've seen a couple other posts regarding this issue.
I've tried connecting the V6 using both WiFi and via TPlink Ethernet cables as a direct connect to the router is not an option for me.
The box completes each stage right up until verifying on the "installing software" page, then it states "connection unsuccessful".
The coax is connected from the V6 to the wall box.
I've contacted VM but they are of no help, and I'm having to wait over 48 hours for a technician.
If anyone has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues setting up your V6, and I can appreciate you're wanting this sorted as soon as possible.
You mentioned you're due to have a technician visit, has this now been completed? Are you still having issues?
I am having the same failing to verify information problem after attempting a quick start installation.When I described it to the help line, I was told to try again in 4 hours as it may not have fully downloaded. Two days later............
Back on the on the telephone help line , went through the same protocols again. This time technician call out arranged for two days later.
