V6 controlled by Samsung Smart TV Anynet+

I have a Virgin V6 box and a Samsung Smart TV with Anynet+. When I connected the box, the TV detected it as being a Virgin cable box and I could control the box directly from the TV. For example, whenever I turned on my TV, it would automatically turn the V6 on, and then I could use my normal Samsung TV remote to change channel, or send commands to open the guide, recordings, or turn the box on/off.

For some reason, this has suddenly stopped working.

Does anyone know of any reason why this would be the case, or how to fix it?

I have tried factory resetting the TV, to no avail.

Re: V6 controlled by Samsung Smart TV Anynet+

I would run an initial setup from the TV, whereby it asks you to plug in each connected device and it in turn, configures it to work with the remote.

Perhaps a recent update has deleted the settings?

Re: V6 controlled by Samsung Smart TV Anynet+

Is the Samsung remote paired with the V6?
