Your V6 gets its internet connection - which is used for OnDemand, streaming & TV Guide updates - via your homehub. If the internet connection to your home is down, then so will the V6's be.
If you've rebooted the box and it's come back on without an internet connection, your live TV should be ok but it certainly won't be happy with "online" facilities until the 'net comes up.
Is anything reported on the local status line? 0800 5610061. If not, you could have a broadband fault.
