Hi did all the checks you suggested by turning off completely for 5 mins, also changing cables but still picture broke up tonight during coronation street which is when it usually happens.
Should I ring in a fault?
we are away a few days how long will we have to wait?
This issue has nothing at all to do with the Ethernet connection to the box if it's happening on live & recorded TV.
You can check to see if there are any reported service issues in your area using this link: https://my.virginmedia.com/faults/service-status
If it's not an area fault then the system will perform a few tests of your installation to see if there's anything obvious, and help you book a tech to get it looked at.
I thought that but didnt want to seem rude by saying so.
Will look at your link now.
no faults recorded for our area but my neighbour says she has an issue with broadband speed and she is also with virgin on the same deal.
please can I arrange for a check up?
Thanks for posting on our Community.
Thanks for the responses Jbrennand and Printerelf.
I do apologise for the inconvenience that you can't watch your preferred show for two weeks now.
I appreciate that you've already performed some troubleshooting to your V6 box. Can you please
confirm if this also happens to all of the channels or only to this specific channel? How is your
broadband connection doing?
Looking forward to your response.
Hi to be honest we rarely watch other channels but it seems to be worse around 7.30-8pm. Our broadband seems to be ok,but I know my neighbour was going to ring you about hers.
cant say we have noticed the issue on other channels but at the time it is worst we are always on itv.
Thanks for the update.
We need to test a few things with you to see if there's a problem with the box, we can do this via online chat.
Let us know how it goes.
