V6 box stuck on starting up

I have called up for technical support but still in the exact same position.

3 days of the same starting up page with box flashing between white and purple.

Tried all connections & even kept Ethernet cable out of box as instructed on the phone to try and connect the box to WiFi but again no further forward.

Wifi service working fine just seems to be box. Only started happening after I changed my package over the phone, although this could just be coincidence.

May need engineer/new box, please help. Thank you

Which begs the question, what did TV Faults say/do when you spoke to them?

VM staff work their way through posts on here, but it can take a few days. So calling to report faults will nearly always be quicker...

Thanks for quick response.

They couldn’t see a connection to the box from their end so asked me to take out the Ethernet cable, a green screen came on my tv and said there was a problem detected and would take 3 hours, do not restart etc. They said when the tv came back on after the 3 hours I had to connect the box to WiFi instead. However that message has gone and the starting up message and flashing has came back on.

Your box has died and you need a replacement.

I would hope that faults agents recognise the green screen "DVR has detected a problem" as meaning hard-drive failure, and doing anything other than replacing the box is just delaying the inevitable.

I just want to confirm, do you have both of a V6 and a TiVo box? If so are you able to confirm the box you are having the issue with?

As @japitts pointed out, the box dose need replacing, I have taken the opportunity to do this for you.  The box should be with you in the next 5 working days.
