V6 box not connecting - Ignore it is now!!

My V6 box doesn't seem to be connecting with the TV.  I've switched it off at the back and back on again. Switched it off at the socket and still not connecting. The remote appears to be working and will switch the box on/off (well the light changes colour anyway!) I've checked the connecting wires aren't loose etc. 

Anything else I can do before phoning? 

It has now decided to connect!!!! Thought I'd give it another try and hey presto...……..!!!!

Have you selected the correct HDMI source on your TV?

Thank you for replying.......I had checked the correct 'source' was selected & it was. Had switched it off etc. Only posted here after faffing about for about an hour.  Checked it once more, just before phoning for support and it was working. No idea what happened but just glad it righted itself........
