V6 box link

I recently had a new V6 box installed as the other one died. However, now I cannot link the one upstairs with the new one, so cannot watch stuff recorded downstairs on the upstairs box. I have tried reconnecting the upstairs one to the network, but it hasn't made any difference. Any ideas?

Multiroom streaming uses the same V6 <---> Hub connection as OnDemand & other streaming services, which can either be a wired Ethernet cable, or wireless. In the absence of a reference to an Ethernet cable, I'll assume you're using wireless - but can you confirm?

When you say you've tried connecting your replacement box to the network, how are you doing this?

On the basis that you're connecting using WiFi, then you need to follow Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network, and follow the on-screen prompts to search for your wireless network & enter the password.
