V6 box install failed

Help please.

I was sent a V6 box to replace my TiVo which had failed.

I followed the instruction and Activate the box.

I followed the connection and install of the V6 box.

The Welcome was displayed and that tuned to Setup and then went to a blank screen which has been displayed for at least two hours. Is the ne V6 box faulty, Need an engineer sent out to sort it out.

I have a hearing loss and cannot under stand the call centre agents.

Any lights on the box? Have you tried rebooting it?

Re: V6 box install failed

Can you confirm that you've got both the hub and V6 connected to the splitter and that the V6 is connected to the hub by Ethernet cable.

What splitter, the V6 is connected to the wall cable tv socket. I do not have Ethernet as I want the V6 on Wi-Fi from my HUB 3 which is in a different room.

Re: V6 box install failed

V6 Install update.

I powered off and powered on and this time I got the Starting display which went on to the set up for my Wi-Fi which went just fine, I carried on to updates etc and now all if fine. I just need to setup the volume on the controller which I will do later
