Re: V6 box frozen on Starting up...

It can take some minutes before the starting up message disappears - how long have you left it? Also try after switching off both the V6 and the Hub and unplugging from power supply for 5 minutes. Switch Hub on and wait a few minutes until it is making network connections on other devices and then switch the V6 back on. It will go to starting up and remake network connections - leave it alone for half an hour and see if its worked.

If not, you could try the factory reset. Turn the V6 off with the " rocker "switch at the back of the box and unplug it for 5 minutes. Plug it in again. Then, hold the + and standby buttons (on the front of the V6) together simultaneously (press hard !) and then turn the box on with rocker switch, keep the buttons pressed, and wait till you see the welcome screen appear on the TV - then release the buttons. Be aware though it will erase all the data - such as all you recordings, and links, etc.

Re: V6 box frozen on Starting up...

Morning Clint55,

Really sorry that your V6 box froze over the weekend, this certainly isn't what we like to hear.

Were you able to try the above from Jbrennand? Hopefully that will sort the issue out for you.

If it doesn't however then please reply to the personal message I'm sending you and we can take a closer look, it is possible a replacement box is needed or an engineer visit.

Let us know how you're getting on.

Re: V6 box frozen on Starting up...

Thanks Emma. V6 came on after 5 hours, not sure why as had not tried a reset for at least a couple of hours. No problems since but will take jbrennand's advice if it happens again.

Re: V6 box frozen on Starting up...

Thanks, will note your suggestions for future problems. V6 box sprang to life after about 5 hours, hadn't touched it for at least 2 hours!
