V6 box failing to start up

I’ve seen this has happened a fair few times on the board but I’ve just had two V6 boxes installed. One is absolutely fine, the other has suddenly got a flashing orange wifi light and dual arrow light. I’ve tried restarting, I’ve tried restarting, plugging the box directly into ethernet, and nothing’s working.

Slightly disappointing that this happen mere days into our membership but hey!

Any tips or is the box as good as done for?

Re: V6 box failing to start up

There's a faint chance that this could be a failed software drop. Perhaps keep the box plugged into an Ethernet (or known reliable WiFi) connection for perhaps a couple of days and see if it self-resolves.

I don't fancy the chances if I'm honest, and you probably are best off calling it into faults.

Re: V6 box failing to start up

So it turned out it was a hard drive failure, only solution was to get a new box. Thanks for the response! 🙂
