V6 box doesn’t work with Samsung tv

V6 box installed at my mum and dads new address today. V6 box works with older generation TVs but isn’t working with Samsung qe43q60. Have done the factory reset on both devices twice and still not picking up the v6 box or any signal from it? Very frustrating . Can anyone help?

When you say "not picking up", how do you mean? Is the correct input selected on the TV?

A video output self-test is part of the V6 boot sequence, so has the box been restarted with the TV connected and switched on?

Have you tried a different HDMI cable and/or a different HDMI port?

Some modern TVs still need an aerial connected to initialise a new TV ,just plugging in an hdmi cable won't do it .So try connecting antenna.
