V6 box continuously recycles

Prfiander
Tuning in

Hi my V6 box is continually recycling through the starting up, welcome message screen, clear data and then shuts down. I've tried the powering down option several times but nothing seems to change the cycle .

The only option would have now is to contact customer service 150 through a vm landline or 0345 454 1111 more likely they will try and fix remotely or they would send a tech

The following may just work..

Turn off the V6 at switch; then on the V6 box  hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, the power button will turn blue, and it should reset and boot up normally.

If this fails, then as above - a TV box that won't bootup has a fault, so you'll need to report that fault. Either call in for an immediate response, or wait here for VM staff to respond, if you don't mind waiting a couple of days. The lead-time for a tech attendance is likely to be ~3 days from whenever it's booked.

Hi just to be clear my V6 has a rocker switch  to turn on the power. When you say hold this down in conjunction with the plus button how does that work?

Hi there @Prfiander, this will be the main button with the light in the middle and the + button. Once you have tried this, please let us know. We will be happy to assist further if needed.

Nathan
