V6 box constant red light

Our TV box started only showing a red light over 4 weeks ago. We tried everything including resets, unplugging everything and waiting but to no avail. After talking to one of your colleagues (Bhavesh)i was advised to disregard everything you (Virgin Media) are advising here and ignore the red light. This is SHOKING customer service. There is clearly an issue with our tv box and the Virgin media rep is ignoring it as well as giving ill advise to paying customers. Can someone from the forum team please contact me?

I have re- booted my router as reset it & turn box off then on... Has been okay but got home and then connection lost & then re - connected by white arrow - Its very odd mine is ethernet cable upstairs.

I think there may be a fault wider spread as it isn't just me (phew) 

hope things sort out to you and (us) and everyone that its happening to on V6 box

There is a fault in my area - VM will be fixing things soon - fingers crossed

To say we are surprised would have been an understatement....on Friday we were promised an angineer would attend today. We are on the phone to Virgin now and guess what? No booking against the account although they can see the notes that one would have been arranged...what a ******** joke

Engineer attended today and replaced the box. Problem with HDD.....
