V6 box connection problem and no channel info

Hello,

I disconnected my V6 2 weeks ago as I was going to change service to have broadband only. I reversed this decision 4 days ago, changing the tv package to a cheaper one and reconnected the V6 box. My Virgin Media profile shows all changes to my package.

I now get error codes on the TV:

N21: Not listed.

C133: There was a problem connecting to the VM service.

S102: Tivo box is unable to aquire channel information. .

I can watch the TV on all channels, however, get no channel info other than "to be announced", no info on the TV guide.

Have restarted several times.

.Have checked all cable connections.

I am getting good WIFI on all other devices.

Have telephoned 150, supplied information and was told by automated system there is a connection problem and they will text me. No text received to date.

System has worked fine since 2012.

Any ideas please?

V6 box connection problem and no channel info

Update: Have now spoken to VM on telephone. It appears there is a problem with the cable running from my HUB to my V6 box (ethernet). An engineer will attend my address to fix.

Re: V6 box connection problem and no channel info

Do you actually have an Ethernet cable from the broadband Hub to the V6?

If you have, remove it from the back of the V6 and connect by WiFi and see if your issue is resolved.

V6 box connection problem and no channel info

Hello Ernie,

Many thanks for your advice.

I removed the ethernet cable as you stated and the V6 box immediately started "loading" via wifi . This took about 20 mins to reach 100%. I now have FULL programme information on the TV guide and am able to series link etc.

Excellent advice.

Thank you.
