V6 box can't aquire channels

Tried in install my new Virgin V6 box in the bedroom, It goes through all the setup stages then gets stuck on 33% when trying to find the channels with a message saying "unable to aquire channels" I have everything plugged in correctly so what is the issue?

Sounds like it hasn't been activated correctly, did you phone up to get the box activated?

How are you connecting the V6 to the Hub - cable or wifi ?

Cable, the one provided was too short so i purchased a longer 1 today but no joy.

I read another topic here were somebody had the same issue and one of your team sent a signal hit and it worked. Is that possible for me? If not i will call them later today.

Hi if you "purchased" a cable then that is the problem, you should only use cable supplied by virgin, then you need to phone and and get the box activated, I would recommend you have an engineer set it up after reading your posts. Regards Micky
