V6 box Green Screen of Death

FBA59AF3-D020-486C-8334-962A33E6A5CB.jpeg

Does anyone know if it’s possible to fix a green screen DVR issue?    I think the box is knackered but it’s impossible to get through to a person at Virgin and all the help bots and automated systems can’t help me, it’s driving me mad to be honest

Re: V6 box Green Screen of Death

Green screen usually means an HDD failure & the box will have to be repalced.

Try calling at around 8am when the UK call cantres open. Failing that the Forum Team here should reply shortly.

Virgin BB TV Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, Virgin Mobile, Tesco Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Re: V6 box Green Screen of Death

Hey there MH1977,

Sorry to hear about the green screen on your V6 box. I've found your details using the information we have on here and can see you've spoken to an agent since you last posted who has arranged for a replacement to be sent out to you. Please activate it when it arrives and let us know if you have any issues with the new V6 box.

Thanks,

Lisa
