V6 and Prime Video

Has anyone managed to resolve Prime video not working?

I was watching it fine until 6 weeks ago. I can log in, the menu is there and I can scroll through all the shows but as soon as I click on one to watch I just get a blank screen. No error message or anything.

Working fine on my Fire Stick in the bedroom so I know its not a problem with my Prime account.

HI stephv, I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the prime video, can you confirm if you are still having these issues?! Can you open and close the app and then reboot the box please to see if anything changes? Chris

Thank you for the reply.

Yes I am still having issues. I have signed out of the app rebooted several times and still no luck.

The app loads and I can select a program but it wont actually play, I just get a blank screen.

Can you to sign out and sign back into the app.

 

To sign out, select Settings [on Amazon account], from the left menu, and then select Deregister your Device. Close the app, reopen, and then enter your credentials to sign back in.

I hadn't even thought about the other apps...

Just tried ITV hub and BBC iPlayer - both doing the same thing, I can see the menus chose a show but nothing playing....😔

Can you ensure that all the cables are secure in the back of the box and do a reboot and let us know if the issue still persists. Chris.

Okay what did you do??? I did exactly the same as I've done several hundred times over the last few weeks (maybe a slight exaggeration) and now it's working.....🤔
