Re: Cable adaptor v6

Hi,

I have just received my V6 box but I am missing the cable connector. Is there any chance I can get one ASAP?

I have tried different adaptors that I have brought but it’s not working.

Please don't create multiple posts on different boards for the same issue!!

You can get a replacement adapter by calling Virgin - any C/S agent can order one for you.

Re: V6 adapter

I am new to this as stated by my name and didn’t know how to use it... therefore, did not know I created two  👍

I couldn’t get through to Virgin and am without a TV so was asking if anyone knows where to buy one from.

Re: V6 adapter

That's fine, that's why I merged the posts together 🙂

Although you can probably source a similar cable yourself, it's really not something you should do. VM use particular grades of co-ax cable to prevent external interference on their network which can cause faults for other customers in your area.

Connecting independently sourced (albeit well-intentioned) cables to VM's equipment is a quick way to unintentionally cause issues. I appreciate VM's call queues are quite long at the moment, but unfortunately it's the only way of doing this.
