New V6 box - plugged in, at Starting Up screen with box lights toggling between off, white with net+wifi on, pink/purple with net+wifi on.
I sent "GO" to the SMS number just before turning on.
Any ideas please? It hasn't brought up an Ethernet connection and hasn't prompted me for Wifi.

Try rebooting the equipment please. If it's still the same then you should phone to get your box activated. 0800 953 9500.
Rebooted, same. Called the line, pressed 1 for activation, said "Your box is still starting up, so sit tight", but it's been stuck like that for a total of over an hour...

Engineer due to attend today (12pm - 4pm). That fault doesn't show up for me on service status and my other TV in the other room works fine, so I suspect it is a premises / network issue.
That's no problem, just wanted to make you aware of an area fault that may affect your services.

Engineer attended and diagnosed a dead-on-arrival V6 box - the second he's seen today with identical symptoms of the unusual light combination signalling a failure.
Box replaced and all is well.
