I have a new V6 TV box and i am trying to get the controller to work on RF instead of IR so i can put the box in a cupboard and still control it.
I have followed all the guidance and still can only get IR to work.
Any suggestions please

Have you followed the instructions to pair the remote with your V6?
This should have been done at installation. The instructions are here:

Thanks i tried all that and still no success - i assume i start with the box furned on?
Is there any way tyo get the controller to work with the V6 box in a cupboard?
The only way to get the remote control to use RF and work in a cupboard is to pair it with the V6.
Have you confirmed you actually have a V6 remote control; it is different to the TiVo one?
Have you tried pairing using the instructions at:
Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Remote Control Pairing >
Thanks for your reply - i am using the controller that xame with the V6 box when it arrived in June or July (can't remember exactly when).
I have followed the instructions on pressing the down button etc but it still does not work on RF. I can make it work from my iPhone though.
Does your remote control have a ‘Text’ button or an ‘Info’ button above the ‘Subtitles’ button?
The V6 remote is the latter.

Thanks - i have now managed to pair the controller so it works in RF as well as IR.
But i found i had to hold the minus button on the box for much longer than 10 seconds to get it to get the power light to go back on after going off.
Also i do not seem to get a beeping sound on the controller.
Can i also pair a second controller as well?
Thanks again for your persistence.
I am afraid that you can only pair one RF remote to the V6 box.
As too the beeping there is an option to turn it off in the menus please do the following Home->Help&Settings->Audio->Sound effects volume->Off
