Yes it is BUT - you can only have a V6 if you have VM's BB.

That's because it must be connected to the Hub to provide the online services. Only other issue is cost - I think it works out at £135 to swap and activate - then +some extra/month (details on the web-site).
Also if you are having problems with the Tivo it might be because of a problem on the co-ax connecting to the TV service - so a V6 wont solve that. Have you recently changed TV's (4K)?
I would also get a new high spec HDMI cable just to rule that out - and try a different HDMI port on the TV. Unless you are still using a scart connection - hopefully you are not ! N.B. V6 has no working Scart socket
