Just spent 1 hour on the phone to Virgin 😡😡😡
Here is the sequence.
Welcome Screen, Start Up Screen, Welcome Screen, Start Up Screen, Deleting Everything, Welcome Screen, Startup Screen, Deleting Everything (Several Times) Then a Box Icon appears with a download arrow (looks like its downloading something) then Welcome Screen.
This is a continuous cycle. I left it for 3 days !!!
The Virgin operative went through everything I had already tried, said she had done some troubleshooting and it should be ok now. DIDNT WORK !! She started blaming the HDMI Cable 😂😂😂 Said she would send me a High Speed Cable and that would fix it !!! (total incompetence and worst of all, SHE LIED !!! The HDMI Cable I am using works just fine on my other two V6 boxes) Seems obvious to me the problem is the Box as it wont boot whatever is tried and I need an Engineer.
Can anybody help?

Did the box do this on its own, or did you initiate a “Clear & Reset” via the settings menu?
Saying this as there is currently a firmware glitch that will brick the box if you select these options.

Hi @shinksy
You could try the following which has worked for some forum members.
Turn off the V6 at switch; then on the V6 box hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time.
Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.
The box should reboot, the power button will turn blue, and it fingers crossed it will reset and boot up normally

Best Regards.
Thanks again
Steve.
