V5 won't connect to new router

I've recently bought a new router and am using the VirginHub 3.0 in modem mode, Should the V6 box be connected to my Hub or the New router?

There is a constant flashing diagonal arrows on the V6 box.

It also asked me to open some ports in the Port Configuation Test. DNS Resolution also failed.

When i test connection it says Network cable unplugged.

Re: V5 won't connect to new router

Hi,

If your in modem mode....then you'd need to plug the V6 into your router (as you would if you were using power line adapters)

No need to mess with ports on the VM equipment, ports are not blocked, your router on the other hand....RTV (refer/return to vendor)

Begs the question....why have you purchased a 3rd party router?

All the best

Chris

Re: V5 won't connect to new router

I Think it was a loose cable into the V6 box, i bought a 3rd part router because my download started falling as low as 25MB/s when i am on M100 package.
