I'm unable to play any on demand stuff again, I keep getting a 603 error message. I've turned the box off and on again several times each day for the last few days. Any ideas?
Firstly, can you confirm which box you have - if you're not sure, check here
When you say this affects all OnDemand - do you include ITV, C4 or C5 CatchUp programmes in that?
Are you watching on a 4K UHD TV? If so, https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-error-codes/603 gives some good advice re your video output settings especially.

I havent tried terrestrial. The error has been random and intermittent over the last few days

I'm not saying they hve, I'm just asking what they're set to. Part of the process of trying to work out what could be causing your issues.

Please try it - same reason as above.
Both iplayer and the programme i was trying to watch yesterday work today and video output format is 1080p.
