Re: V6 startup issues

I'm getting to the start up, doing software update. Comes up with 33% then just stays on that until the (102) fault appears.

Re: V6 startup issues

I'm assuming it's a V6 and not a TiVo you have, but can you confirm? https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-box

The V6 needs 2 separate connections.

1: White coax cable carrying your live TV channels.

2: Connection (either Ethernet or WiFi) to your homehub, which provides the internet. You need this for setup, TV Guide updates & OnDemand functions.

Are both of these present?

Re: V6 startup issues

I had that identical situation earlier today when swapping out a TiVo for a V6.

After being stuck on 33% it moved to the s102 fault code. When I pressed ok the box went through a couple more restarts before eventually coming to life.  The whole thing took around 30 minutes.

However the guide still showed a lot of missing channels.  The process I set out above resolved that.

You may need to call in for support with this.

Re: V6 startup issues

If you can get into the menu system, and have a working internet connection to the box, then you can also use..

Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network > Connect to Virgin Media services now

Let the box work through which can take 10-15minutes if it's the first time or suchlike
