Getting error code 7400 even though we've had box more than a year

Have you made any recent changes to your package or equipment? Adding/removing TiVo/V6, fault replacements, that sort of thing?
As per https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-error-codes/7400 this is an equipment activation error - if the online steps don't help, you'll need to call 0800 9539500 with your box details handy.
