The problem IS with your Tivo box. The arrow pointing to the box indicates a hard drive failure. All the messages on this post advised you to send a private message to Chris who was willing to help you this morning. The first response to your original post was from Chris (C_Butcher86)

Go to the second message on this thread and click on C_Butcher86

Then scroll down and click on

Send me a message 

There you can send Chris a private message with your account and Tivo box details which nobody else will see. Chris can arrange a new Tivo box to be sent out if required.

You MUST send a private message to Chris for this to get resolved

Hi John_C3 your mail sounded hopeful
and I think you might be right about the hard disk
it's got that hunting sort of sound like it's trying to find the right
sector & segment
BUT
I can't see a second message but Chris C_Butcher86
Is there any possibility you can arrange this for me ?

John_C3 sent me a message saying that it sounds like a hard disk
fail & you might be able to arrange a new TIVO box .. is that correct ?

Hi Chris

a message in the group from John_C3 suggests that it's a hard disc fail in the TIVO

box ( sounds feasible ) given the noises it's making + that you might be able to

arrange a replacement.

Is that correct ?

Thanks to your post which identified the hard disk problem

I used the chat box on VM's website & had a Field Engineer

out today .. you were absolutely right hard disc Kaput.

l had been thinking outside the box instead of inside

It's restored my faith in good customer service

which is sadly lacking on numerous platforms

especially during the Corona crisis
