"Maybe the 10m I ordered doesn't come with ethernet built in?"
No it doesnt!
The V6 MUST be connected to the Hub for it to work properly - how is yours connected - Cat6 ethernet cable works best. The TV will also need connecting to the Hub for its stand-alone internet services to work (Apps, etc) - again, an ethernet cable (Cat6) connection to the Hub is better than wifi.

For a signal that needs to travel further than 5 - 10 metres, a higher grade Category 2 (or High Speed) cable is recommended and will successfully achieve a signal distance of up to 15-20 metres. It is also designed to support transmission of 4k UHD, 3D and Deep Colour video signals.

There is no such thing as an HDMI 2.0 cable. If your TV has HDMI 2.0 inputs any high-speed cable will do. What you need is a high-speed without Ethernet cable and the shorter the better. If you cannot get your TV close to your V6, get VM to move the V6 (it will cost £99).
