Tivo not talking to other box

I think my kid went into my bedroom Tivo, went on MyShows, went to watch her cartoons from my Tivo in lounge, and accidentally pushed clear & said I no longer have this Tivo...

I can't get the bedroom Tivo to pick up the lounge tv for the life of me. Today I even went as far to do a clear and reset on the bedroom tv.

The lounge Tivo can often, but not as reliably, pick up the bedroom tv. Im using powerline to connect them to my network.

Any ideas?!

Re: Tivo not talking to other box

Do you have the Virgin TV Control app?

From that you can check the status of the boxes.

Open the app and click the three dots at the bottom 'more'
Then select settings.
Selected source should show your two boxes.
Down the page under Streaming & downloading click on System info and select the box you want to view.

Check if you can view the stored shows on this app from each box.

Re: Tivo not talking to other box

This indirectly helped...!

It wasn't letting me click the info button for the bedroom Tivo. I've taken the powerline out and have put it back onto wifi and it showed up! The Tivo boxes are now communicating again.

I'm going to leave it like this till later, and investigate why the powerline was causing problems tomorrow.

I've got a happy Mrs now that she can watch her programs in bed again, and I get some peace and quiet on the xbox! Thanks for saving my evening!
