Tivo box keeps rebooting

My Tivo box keeps rebooting. I have tried switching everything off and on with no success. I have a technician coming to relocate the box anyway in 3 weeks (earliest appointment available). Will he be able to replace the box while he is here if he cannot fix the issue?

Any TV box that's restarting regularly has a fault, and providing you have VM home broadband,a faulty TiVo is replaced with a V6.
