Tivo V6 box issue

Sometimes when our Tivo V6 box is off and we turn it on we get no picture and sound and have to turn it off and back on again, and we are now getting distortion on some of our recordings. I have tried to get hold of the customer service team but it takes a very long time to get through. Any help is appreciated, at the moment we think we need a new V6 box.

Pixellation on live TV is indicative of a signal fault that is best reported.

It's simple, but... have you tried restarting your box once?

What're your power saving options set to? Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Power saving

It isn't pixilation on live tv, it is jumping on recordings.

If live TV is ok, but recordings and "paused" TV is affected, that is indicative of your hard drive having problems.

That's only likely to get progressively worse until - eventually - it could fail outright.

Call TV Faults and report it.
