I have received a new Tivo Mini remote as pictured, and I want to put it into RF mode. Everywhere I look online, tells me to press the Tivo Button and the Green D button. Firstly, I don't have a Tivo button, so is that 'Home' button, plus I don't have a Green D button. I have coloured buttons from left to right - Red, Green, Yellow & Blue, but none have letters on. Can anyone assist, as this is driving me nuts!

You are trying to use instructions from an American TiVo product.
Try these for a Virgin Media TiVo or V6 box:

Thanks, but the remote is paired as it works OK and I have even set it to recognise the TV to adjust volume and switch on and off. Will your advice also put the remote into RF mode, which is what I need.

The remote is in RF mode automatically. You can change it control the V6 in IR mode, but it reduces the range it operates on & the signal will not go through obstructions like cabinet doors.
To do this, press & hold TV & Clear simultaneously until the remote flashes green three times. Press thumbs down three times, then press OK. The remote will flash green two more times & the remote is then in IR mode only.

Thanks, but the remote is definitely not in RF mode, as I have to be very distinct in pointing it at the TiVo box and anything in the way, just will not work, which is annoying. If I do as Ernie_C suggested and re-pair, are you saying it will, by default, go in to RF mode?

The remote will flash Red when sending RF signals. It will flash green when sending IR. What is it showing when you try operating the V6?

Thanks all. I have re-paired by following Ernie_C instructions, and yes, the remote has defaulted to RF mode. Amazing how such a trivial thing, given the world we currently live in, can make a man so happy😄
